The research on rural women entrepreneurship and the adoption of digital technology has been rapidly expanding, but is fragmented and scattered across both subjects and geographic contexts. This study maps the publication trends, leading journals, and thematic relationships in the field using bibliometric analysis. A dataset of 557 Scopus-indexed journal articles was analysed using the SPAR-4-SLR protocol, Biblioshiny, and VOSviewer. The analysis examines annual scientific production, publication outlets, and keyword co-occurrence patterns. The findings indicate increasing scholarly attention to women's entrepreneurship, digitalisation, innovation, financial access, and sustainable development. The thematic evolution also highlights the need for greater integration of rural context, institutional conditions, and digital technology adoption. Based on the identified research gaps, the study proposes future directions involving institutional frameworks, comparative research, and longitudinal examination of digital entrepreneurship outcomes. The study contributes to understanding the thematic development of research at the intersection of rural women's entrepreneurship and digital technology adoption.
